From Jan, 1, 2009, Vietnam Railway and China railway start to run new border crossing trains between Hanoi and Nanning. This MR1/2 train runs every day. From Nanning to other Chinese destinations, express MR1/MR2 trains run everyday at both ends from Vietnam and China. Traditional International train to Beijing becomes M1 train China limited express from Nanning. (MR2 train runs daily from Nanning.)
